I have been working in sound for over twenty years and have experience in all job roles within the sound department having worked in features,tv drama, documentaries, commercials, news and corporates.
For the last ten years i’ve been based out of Margate on the Kent coast, but have worked all over the uk and there world.
Having started working in sound with Sky News and then looking for new challenges I worked as a trainee on big features such as Mamma Mia, The Bank Job and 28 Weeks Later under Oscar winning sound mixer Simon Hayes. I then Started to boom operate for award winning sound man Billy Quinn and this gave me an excellent understanding in how to record Production sound with the least possible ADR, I bring this desire to record excellent dialogue to every job no matter how big or small. Over the last few years i have been production sound mixer on a number of projects from Bridgerton, The beast Must Die and Belgravia: the next chapter.
I am technically minded and thrive on a challenge thanks to my ability to think outside the box and keep calm under pressure with a good sense of humour.
I have a full understanding of the workflow from filming to broadcast and this enables me to record the best possible sound with the easiest workflows for all types of project.
